Zemsky chiefs of the Tver province of 1889-1917. Biographical reference

The reference book contains data on the Zemstvo chiefs of those who served in the Tver province in the period 1889–1917, i.e. institutions of the position during the counter -reform of Emperor Alexander III before the liquidation of this institution of power during the February Revolution. The guide used funds of the State Archive of the Tver Region (GATO), including Formular lists and certificates of police officers from the end of the XIX to the beginning of the XX century, as well as official and provincial publications-address-calendars, commemorative books, etc. To clarify the information related to the twentieth century, used electronic databases posted on the Internet.
The reference book is addressed to historians, genealogues, local historians and all those interested in the history of the Fatherland and the Tver Territory
