Once upon a time there was a grandfather with a grandmother. Grandmother was interested in art, read books about artists, and grandfather in his youth himself was engaged in painting and knew firsthand how to mix paints. And they had an Ema granddaughter, a high school student, and the grandson of Mikulash, a nine -year -old broke, who more than anything else loved to drive the ball and watch football matches. Once, Eme was set for the weekend, and then grandparents decided to reduce her and Mikulash to the Museum of Modern Art, but not to a simple museum, but to magical, where masterpieces from all over the world were collected. By an amazing combination of circumstances at the same time, the former director of this museum, like no other who knew the price of the treasures that they are stored in it, decided to kidnap one of them, and while grandfather and grandmother told Eme and Mikulash about the paintings, robbers crept into the museum. So young visitors, without suspecting that themselves, became witnesses and even participants in detective history. At the same time, this book, which received a prestigious Magna Litera award for the best publication for children, will tell about how it developed, and at the same time about how the art of the last two centuries developed
