The book includes excerpts from the theoretical works of the great German painter and graphics by Albrecht Dürer - three printed treatises and handwritten sketches to them. In the original, Dürer treatises are very extensive and are largely special, and also abound in repetitions. The compilers of this collection tried to select the material in such a way that it could be judged by the construction of these works, and about the whole circle of issues raised in them, and the method of presentation, and, above all, about Dürer"s views on art. In addition to the texts, the publication contains reproductions of engravings, drawings and drawings of Durer.
