The purpose of the monograph represented by the reader is to reconstruct the strategic guidelines of the political and religious activities of Alexander Nevsky in the context of world civilizational and geopolitical transformations. In parallel, the course of the historical process is considered within the framework of various civilizational communities and their interaction. An integrated version of the history of the century is proposed as a clash of various options for religious projects. The results of the study consist in the substantiation of the likelihood of nomination and implementation by Alexander Nevsky Strategy of the "soft force", which consists in the establishment of threats to remove the threats from the East and the expansion of the boundaries of the Christian civilization range through the spread of Christianity among the Mongols.
The theoretical significance of the study is determined by the rethinking of the strategy of Alexander Nevsky as an active policy of religious and ideological influence. The practical significance of the work is associated with the potentials for the formation of the new cultural policy of Russia in the eastern direction
