The image of the Urals in the visual arts

The material of the manual addressed to high school students and students demonstrates, as in painting, graphics, sculpture, the image of the Urals is represented, how it gradually changed, how the process of artistic understanding of the stone belt was going on. The authors - teachers of the Department of History of Arts of the Ural State University - are given numerous, previously unknown to the wide audience, information about the visual arts of the region, brief biographical information about artists working in the Urals, an analysis of artistic phenomena was made.
The manual is richly illustrated and is a logical continuation of the publication "image of the Urals in documents and literary works."
