The issue of the withdrawal of Russia from the First World War is considered in a monograph in the context of the domestic political struggle throughout the military anniversary, including 1917-1918. The author proves that the February Revolution was the result of the split of the ruling class of tsarist Russia, part of which, in order to prevent the actual or imaginary threat to Nicholas II of the Separate World with Germany, went to an alliance with opponents of the regime. The study is based on the methods of elite theory.
