In the book "Spatial Buildings in Old Russian Painting" (1975), B.V. Raushenbach analyzes the principles of conveying the prospects in the works of medieval artists, on many visual examples, revealing the general trends of spatial decisions and their close connection with an intuitive visual perception. Compared to the usually used concept of "prospects" the term "spatial constructions" allows us to more widely cover the subject of research aimed at clarifying the geometric features of the transmission of space on the image plane
