The monograph investigated the social policy of anti -Bolshevik governments in the east of Russia during the Civil War. The author identified the main directions of social policy, the theoretical and ideological grounds for solving social problems were investigated, the regulatory framework, the degree and scale of its implementation, direct results, direct and indirect long-term consequences, and the reaction of the population to the actions of the authorities were analyzed. The study was carried out with the maximum support on the achievement of modern historiography, with the involvement of a significant amount of archival documentation, periodicals and published sources. The publication has a comparative analysis of the social policy of anti -Bolshevik governments in the east of Russia and other foci of resistance to the Bolsheviks, as well as a comparison with the social policy of the Soviet government, a wide range of problems associated with the peculiarities of the interaction of the state and society in the conditions of the civil war.
