The dictionary is compiled on the basis of the card index of the famous Russian historian D. Ya. Rezun. In it, in a systematic form, unique information is presented about almost 20 thousand representatives of the service world: boyar children, atamans, Cossacks, Sagittarius and other “sovereign people” who made up the vast majority of the Russian population of Siberia in the early period of its colonization.
For the first time, the surnames, social status, origin, family ties, the official activities of the service people of all Siberian garrisons, their participation in the joining and economic development of the region are widely presented.
Dictionary data allow you to better understand the complex estate and polyetonic structure of Siberian society, the processes of interaction between the center with the Siberian outskirts, the government voivode power with local worldly self -government and to illuminate other controversial issues of Siberian history.
The publication is intended for professional historians, local historians, genealogues and the widest circle of readers.
compilers: I.P. Kamenetsky, D.A. Ananyev, E.V. Komleva, E.N. Tumanik
