The multi -volume Russian historical encyclopedia was prepared by a team of authors of the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences under the general editorship of academician A.O. Chubaryan.
The purpose of the publication is to present to readers a modern view of ideological stereotypes a view of world and Russian history, corresponding to the achievements of Russian and world historical science of recent years.
