The book analyzes the legal aspects of the interaction of the Russian Empire with the States of Central Asia since the beginning of the XVIII century. Until 1917, the author characterizes the main stages of the formation of Russian influence on the legal development of the Central Asian Khanates, considers the main directions in which this influence was carried out. The study allows us to comprehend the historical experience of integration in the Eurasian space, the next stage of which is actively realized today, as well as evaluate the degree of effectiveness of the legal means of this integration in the 18th - early 20th centuries, their strengths and weaknesses.
