This collection is the renewal of a joint program for the preparation of a series of collections of documents, begun in the 1980s. And then the "socio-political struggle of the masses of Belarus" named then. A three -volume edition was supposed. The first volume was drawn up from the documents of the Belarusian archives and published (the socio-political struggle of the people"s masses of Belarus: a collection of documents and materials: in 3 vols. T. 1: socio-political struggle of the masses of Belarus, the end of the XIV century / Competition / Competition . 3. Yu. Kopyssky et al. Minsk, 1988) The second volume was planned and prepared in the TsGADA (1648-1667), but its publication was not implemented. According to the new program, special attention is paid to materials about the daily life of ordinary people of the Russian-Lithuanian lead, their work, life, trade, relations with the secular and church authorities of Russia and the Commonwealth. The publication of the following volumes is supposed, in particular about the Belarusian military units as part of the royal troops at the beginning of the “flood” and the situation on the Belarusian lands in K. XVII - beginning. XVIII century. During the selection of documents, the volume was currently radically processed, the number of documents was doubled.
