The Romanov clan belongs to the number of ancient families of Moscow boyars. Its representatives were autocratic rulers for more than 300 years: from February 1613 to March 1917 there were 18 monarchs in the Romanov family, during the reign of which our Fatherland experienced the great and tragic pages of their history.
After the revolution, a large Romanov family, which included more than 60 people in 1917, broke up. Eighteen of them died during the years of the revolution, the rest of the different ways managed to leave their homeland. Now the Romanovs and their descendants live in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Uruguay. But wherever they live, in their hearts they retained love for Russia. Now many of them are returning home. Their story continues.
Within the framework of the book, the "collective biography" of this kind was recreated from the accession to the throne of Mikhail Fedorovich to the present day. Of particular value to the publication is given by a combination of genealogical, biographical and bibliographic information, giving it a reference character, and the "living", written by the popular science style of essays about representatives of the dynasty.
The book will be interesting to a wide reader audience.
