The book is devoted to the relationship between the authorities and journalism of 1830–1855. - The reign of Nicholas I and at the same time period of journalistic activity of Andrei Alexandrovich Kraevsky. These are the years of the professionalization of journalism and literature, attempts to express yourself in print through veiled socio-political statements in the context of severe censorship.
