The book of the Russian writer and the poet, historian and art critic Sergei Mikhailovich Lyubetskiy (1809-1888) leads you with paths of recreation areas of Muscovites. This is a detailed story about the country household, which has become an integral part of Russian culture.
Having retired in the late 1850s, Lyubetskiy completely devoted himself to literary activity, creating the first and unsurpassed history of the Dachi of the Moscow Region.
We will move for a century and a half ago and look into the familiar places built by Muscovites, built up with concrete boxes, but once quiet, green, cozy. Butyrka, Tsaritsyno, Lyubertsy, Sokolniki and Vorobyovy Mountains, Poklonnaya Gora and Medvedkovo ... The whole world with his legends, customs ... and his own chronicler - the same as Moscow Zagoskin, Pilyaev and Gilyarovsky.
The publication is undertaken for the first time in more than 130 years. It is richly illustrated by rare engravings, drawings, photographs, as well as the works of outstanding domestic painters
