The book is dedicated to the most interesting phenomenon of Japanese art - miniature sculpture - Necke and Okimono. It tells about the origin of this art from the very sources to the present day. Considerable attention is paid to the description of the forms and materials traditional for NECKE, the interpretation of plots is presented, which reflected the mythology, history and culture of Japan. NECKE and Okimono, presented in this book, are in private collections and published for the first time. Also given images and descriptions of unique samples of fans, Japanese swords, tsuba, screen and ya.
