The monograph for the first time comprehensively examines the relationship between K. G. Mannerheim with Russia, starting from the period of the revolution and the Civil War in Finland in 1918 and until the end of World War II. The author pays special attention to the controversial issues and “multiplicity” of the Finnish marshal as the ability, changing tactics, to consistently realize the main task - the fight against Russia/USSR in the Union with Kaiser and later Nazi Germany.
Mannerheim plans to create the Great Finland are analyzed at the expense of the USSR, its absence as the main accused in the Helsinki process over the main culprits of Finland in the Second World War on the side of Nazi Germany is explained
