The monograph is devoted to the evolution of the Russian world in 1950? E - early 1980? Changes in the Soviet emigration policy are analyzed, the historical conditions for the formation of the “third wave” of emigration from the Soviet Union are characterized. Much attention is paid to the problem of perception by emigrants of the transformation of the Soviet political regime in the posttalinsky period. The book was written on the basis of attracting historical sources stored in the Open Society Archive funds (Budapest), the International Scientific and Information and Educational Center Memorial (Moscow), the use of the emigrant periodical of those years, memoir literature. The application presents excerpts from documents characterizing individual aspects of the topic in question.
