Lev Nikolaevich Gumilyov (1912–1992) - brilliant historian, ethnographer, anthropologist, author of the unique concept of the historical process - the famous theory of "passionarity". Gumilyov’s works cause fierce disputes, but even opponents of the scientist recognize the depth of his research gift, the logic of the presentation of facts and the extraordinary scientific view. The scientist intently examines many circumstances affecting the life of a separate nation - up to global climatic phenomena and even cosmic processes.
