This publication is a continuation of the author’s conversation with the reader about the events of 1801–1815, the secrets of the first half of the reign of Alexander I. Secret notes, intrigues, conspiracies, love stories - and, alas, greed and betrayal - are generously presented on the pages of previously secret documents from archives Vatican, Austria, Great Britain, France, Sweden and even Turkey. In all his books, historian Natalia Zazulina follows the same statement that Russia is a country of unread history, introduces the reader to new facts, shedding light on seemingly long -known events.
