In this Dictionary, the reference dictionary presents information about the precedent, that is, about the well-known characters in China, the names of which can be used in the language as a common noun and are symbols. Such names in modern linguistics are called precedent names. The preparation of this dictionary is an attempt to form a basic arsenal of precedent characters (names) of the Chinese -language cultural space and knowledge about them to ensure the minimum linguistic and cultural competence of the studying Chinese language and Russians interested in China.
In total, the dictionary corps includes more than 600 language units, which are the names of historical personalities and literary characters and related phraseological units and verbal cliches, which are actively used in the modern Chinese linguistic cultural community. The dictionary also presents an extensive block of precedent names and statements of foreign origin.
