The subject of analysis of the articles of this collection are narratives about the Leningrad blockade in the form in which they are reflected in literary texts, diaries, cinema, and in the "adjacent rows" - in propaganda materials and even in the blockade gossip, which, in the absence of official information, She played a huge role in the life of a besieged city. The authors guided by various methodological prospects strive to show by what laws narratives about blockade are built and what evolution they undergo over time. The collection offers a variety of disciplinary approaches to the blockade: it is the fruit of joint work of philologists, historians of culture, sociologists and media researchers. Among the heroes of the book are prominent intellectuals (Lydia Ginzburg, Olga Freidenberg), poets and writers (Olga Bergholz, Gennady Mountains, Pavel Saltsman), as well as ordinary citizens whose blockade texts have come to our time.
