This collection is devoted to theoretical and practical aspects of the functioning of the cultural sector. Theoretical studies are focused around the three main topics: theoretical analysis of "price diseases", the mechanisms of financial support for the sphere of culture and the results of empirical research of demand for cultural benefits. As part of the analysis of the problems of institutional modernization, issues of legislative regulation of cultural activities, the peculiarities of the functioning of individual segments of the cultural sector (in particular, cinematography, museum and theatrical activity), as well as the problems of state regulation in the field of culture and the development of state cultural policies.
