The book reflects the selected pages of the history of human culture, which influenced legal development. It is impossible today to judge the state of our civilization, all the more to talk about its healing, without plunging into the oldest layers of human culture. At this depth, an indissoluble connection of cultural forms with the ideas of people about the order and laws is amazingly felt. The then cultural traditions that have arisen the law carried a more complex and diverse content than the emasculated legal consciousness of modernity.
