Mikhail Yefimovich Shvydkoy is a Russian politician who served as the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation from 2000 to 2004. He is also a diplomat, art historian, and television presenter known for shows such as "Cultural Revolution," "Comedians' Shelter," "Agora," and "Life is Beautiful." He was the Chairman of VGTRK (1998–2000) and the Artistic Director of the Moscow Musical Theater. Since 2008, he has been the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International and Cultural Cooperation.
