Information is provided on the structurally sensitive physical properties (viscosity, density, and surface tension) of slag melts from nickel and copper raw materials, primarily focusing on the influence of temperature and changes in composition due to the removal of iron oxides. A significant amount of experimental data on the viscosity, density, and surface tension of melts in the CaO-MgO-FeOx-Al2O3-SiO2 system and its subsystems is presented.
