Every winter, the residents of a small village near the lake hear a loud crunch at night. They know - it's the monster coming to the shore to feast on ice. Everyone is already used to it and almost not afraid. But one day, a girl named Rosna saw through the window how the monster pulled a star from the sky and ate it! And then another one... Rosna realized: in order for the monster not to drag the stars from the sky, you need to offer it something tastier. For example, fruit ice! Soon all the villagers, learning about the unusual incident, began to take turns preparing treats for the monster. And one evening, after New Year's, Rosna did not hear the usual crunch...
