The teacher's guide is part of a set designed for assessing the most important cross-curricular outcome - the basics of education in school - reading literacy (comprehension reading and information processing skills) at the end of primary school education. The set is developed in accordance with international PISA research requirements and allows for assessing the readiness of Russian school students to take the international test during the PISA-2018 research period. The guide provides general approaches to assessing students' reading literacy. It describes the standardized comprehensive work, including texts in four subject areas (mathematics, Russian language, natural sciences, and social sciences) and tasks related to them. The guide elaborates on the specifics of texts and tasks in each subject area, describes the results of their completion, and provides recommendations for using the materials in studying these subjects. Methodological recommendations for conducting, assessing, interpreting, and utilizing the results of the comprehensive work are also included.
