This book includes two famous fairy tales by E. Uspensky: "Gena the Crocodile and His Friends" and "Gena the Crocodile's Vacation". These entertaining stories tell about how Cheburashka, after a long journey from tropical forests, found a home and many good friends, as well as how Gena the Crocodile, Cheburashka, Shapoklyak, and the rat Lariska united in the fight for the cleanliness of a river near Moscow. In 1974, an animated film "Shapoklyak" was made based on the fairy tale "Gena the Crocodile's Vacation". The book is illustrated by the classic children's illustrators S. Bordyug and N. Trepenok. Suitable for elementary school age children.
