The textbook was prepared by the author"s team of the Department of Criminal Procedure of the Ural State Law University in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Law program developed by him, which fully complies with the State Standard of Higher Legal Education (Bachelor, Specialist, Master).

Changes in a criminal procedure law are taken into account and used in the textbook as of 01.02.2016, the judicial practice of its application, as well as a wide range of scientific and practical work of domestic and foreign procedural scientists. At the end of each chapter, a list of references for in-depth study is given.
In addition, the textbook is equipped with a glossary and schemes according to the main topics of the course.
