For the first time in Russian historiography, a peculiar annals of the military service of the Crimean Tatars as part of the Russian Imperial Army in the late XVIII - early XX centuries are presented in the book. It is described in detail about the history of military units and divisions of the Russian army, consisting of ethnic Crimean Tatars: Tauride Tatar divisions (1784-1796), the horse-owned Tatar regiments (1807-1817), the Life Guards of the Crimean Tatar squadron (1827- 1864), the teams of the Life Guards of the Crimean Tatars of the Imperial Convoy (1863-1890), the Crimean horse regiment (1874-1920) The process of the formation of units and units, the features of their service, the combat path during the Patriotic War of 1812, two Russian-Turkish wars, the Crimean campaign and the First World War are described in detail. Particular attention is paid to the description of their original uniforms, equipment, weapons and regalia, which clearly allocated Crimeans in the general system. Reference information is given about the personnel of the Crimean Tatar formations
