The work sets out the modern views of Russian and foreign scientists on the device of the mechanism of credit-money transmission. The work of the main transmission channels is described in detail: the interest rate, foreign exchange rate and bank lending. The main emphasis is on the search for factors that ensure the influence of a credit-money policy on the real sector of the economy. Most of the work is devoted to the analysis of the functioning of the transmission mechanism in Russia in the first decade of the 21st century. A study of the operability of the main channels of the credit and money transmission in Russia was conducted and the causes of the current situation were analyzed.
