With this set you will get acquainted with the technique of manual weaving and create a warm and bright panel that will decorate your house and make it comfortable.
How to make a panel
Pay attention: you need to make stitches on the front side of the base, and pull the threads themselves so that they remain on the back.
Take the edge of the woolen thread and fix it with an ordinary double node on the top. Pull the thread down through the center and drive into the lower opposite hole.
Then pass the thread into the next left hole to return it to the back of the form. Then up to the next right, pass through the holes, making a stitch. Then again down to the next on the left (as shown in the diagram in the instructions) and so to the end.
Pull the threads along the weave so that they do not sag in the center. When the base is ready, cut the thread and fix it with an ordinary double node.
It is time to start weaving. The easiest and most common way is linen. In this case, the working thread is passed through the threads of the base one through one. Lead the needle with a woolen thread through the threads of the foundations, passing above the first, under the second, over the third, under the fourth and so on. Be careful: in order not to deform the drawing, leave the ranks soft and nonsense. Cut the thread and fix it with an ordinary double knot.
Now you can decorate the shape. The beast embroidered with your own hands allows it to give it an individual expression, which cannot be done if you use plastic materials.
Take a plastic needle and embroider your eyes and mouth, and make the cheeks from wool. To make the animal’s scrap, divide the wool into small strands and tie it around the shape. To make a nose, just draw a thread into the holes prepared in the form. The muzzle is ready!
Add a decorative line to the remaining holes and decorate with hanging elements.
Make a pompom with the help of the fork. Wrap the threads on it and bandage the bundle in the middle. Then cut the threads along the edges and flood the pompom.
Make simple brushes. Bend the thread with a thread in the middle. Then fold it in half and, having retreated from the top of 1 cm, make a few turns around the folded beam with a thread. The ends are firmly tie. Then tie the edges of the threads in the bundle with scissors.
Now you can hang a finished panel on the wall or decorate as a gift.
