The Japanese are special people. They managed to put special meaning even in a broken dish. Residents of the Land of the Rising Sun value old things and are in no hurry to throw them away and buy new ones. The art of Kintsugi is not just a restoration of broken cups - this is a whole philosophy. Kintsugi is an ancient technology open in the 15th century in Japan. Her main idea is to restore broken objects, emphasize cracks with gold, instead of trying to hide them. A broken, and then with love, the restored object paradoxically becomes even stronger, more beautiful and more valuable than before the breakdown. In our lives, too, breakdowns sometimes happen, the blows of fate from which are not just recovering. In his book, Selin Santini on his own example talks about how to overcome hard times, to heal deep wounds. “Understand: like a broken vase, carefully restored using the Kintsugi technique, you are a jewel that deserves to be restored with gold, the most expensive metal in the world! You are priceless and deserve the best, ”writes the author
