From the author
I am grateful to nature for all the wealth that she generously gives us. There is a special pleasure in laying a stitch behind the stitch, thinking how the seasons leisurely replace each other.
All living things on Earth are involved in this cycle: trees, flowers and herbs, insects, birds, animals and, of course, people. The origin of a new life in the spring, careless joy in the summer, generous fruits in the fall, peace and lull in winter. I decided to unite the phenomena of the annual cycle with the theme of "twelve months". We will follow the stitch behind the stitch through all seasons, exploring their beauty and diversity.
The book presents a variety of schemes: from the simplest to requiring dexterity and perseverance. If you are a beginner in embroidery, start with simple single motifs. There are such patterns in every part.
You can decorate various things with embroidery. And it can pull the finished work on the subframe and hang on the wall, like a real picture.
In our time of consumer abundance, needlework is a thing of the past. Nevertheless, I really want you to like this activity and bring true pleasure and peace.
