The textbook is aimed at optimizing oral and written translation into Russian as a native language. The exercises are designed to enhance the linguistic competencies of translators, prevent the loss of information, the occurrence of a comic effect, or violations of the norms of literary language during simultaneous translation, as well as to develop the skill of self-editing during the process of written translation. The book consists of two parts: simultaneous translation into Russian and editing of written translations into Russian.
The manual is intended for student translators, but can also be used by students of any specialty in classes on the discipline 'Russian Language and Culture of Speech'.
