In this book, I am not going to argue, condemn or convince. It was very interesting for me to find scientific answers to many questions about vegetarianism and meat -eating.
Who is a person historically - a predatory or herbivore? Why is a huge elephant enough grass alone, and for a person a raw food diet is great stress? How to explain the fact that red meat is really very harmful, and the chicken is an excellent dietary product? Why are the most healthy diets - Mediterranean and Japanese - differ in a very high share and a variety of plant products? Or, for example, why the population of India, consisting mainly of vegetarians, does not shine with health, and does the Caucasian meat diet predispose to long -lived?
But, most importantly, in this book you will find practical tips for optimizing nutrition, which will be useful to everyone regardless of food preferences. And in this sense, the “vegans against meat -eaters” will be a logical continuation of my other books, such as “forget the word diet”, "impudent calorie" and "100 myths about food and harm."
