A feature of Jewish cuisine in any corner of the globe is the use of specific products and dishes during the days of Jewish holidays. The order of the dishes of the cuisine of Jewish holidays does not change over the centuries, possibly for millennia. The exception is only the cuisine of the Independence Day of Israel, which developed in the mid -twentieth century. So, on the Passes of the Jews it is customary to eat Matsu and products from Matsu, bread products and kvassy these days are excluded. On Shavouette, the festive tables are filled with dairy products, bananas and grapes, dates and figs, apples, plums and other gifts of the Earth. Pies, donuts and latkes (pancakes) fried in oil are eaten on Hanukkah. The book provides culinary recipes and options for cooking disads dedicated to certain Jewish holidays. And, of course, Jewish stories, legends, jokes and Maisa - how to do without them in a book about Jewish cuisine?
