Reprint from the publication. The creation of the Russian author, nicknamed the Old Indian Rooster, published by Ivan Krylov. Moscow. Type of. Sergey Orlov, 1863. Erofeich - one of the best types of so -called Russian vods - advanced, and sometimes dull (rectified) bread alcohols infected on natural herbs. According to the author, this time under the exotic pseudonym, the old Indian rooster, the spread of the "Erofeich" through the territory of the huge empire, Russians owe a random meeting in the inn, which took place in the reign of Catherine the Great. A certain middle hand official, who traveled according to the official need, stopped there at night, and the owner, having heard his superstar cough and learning that he had been suffering from a “chest” disease for several years, advised him to turn to a village healer named Erofei Erofeevich. The official ordered to call the outlandish healer and in amazement he heard that the miraculous medicine that the peasant Aesculapius used to use the inhabitants of the surrounding villages with unchanged success - this is a foam (that is, bread vodka), insisted on herbs. After long doubts, the official began to be treated with a healing infusion, which the whole district unanimously called Erofeich, and upon returning to St. Petersburg, recovering it, recommended it to a seriously ill -radiant nobleman. So the fame of the "Erofeich" spread first to both capitals, and then throughout Russia. Circulation 30 copies. Made using Print-on-Demand technology
