William Vasilyevich Pokhletkin did not have a book on festive cooking. He was a serious person and wrote about serious, most important things regarding cooking. After all, food is primarily energy for life. And he gave directions in which every mistress can move in comprehension of culinary art. But food is an integral part of the holiday, and we, with the permission of the heirs of V.V. Pokhletkin created this small book based on books on the national cuisines of the peoples of Transcaucasia and Central Asia, as well as Slavic peoples.
