This monograph provides a systematic exposition of the mathematical theory of vector optimization. Abstract extremal problems in preordered vector spaces, vector problems of nonlinear programming, and optimal control problems with a vector quality indicator of terminal type are considered sequentially. Significant attention is paid to the development of one of the directions of nonsmooth analysis - the theory of approximative quasidifferentiation of functions and mappings. The book is intended for scientists and engineers specializing in the field of optimization theory and control systems, as well as for students and postgraduates in relevant specialties.
