Convergence (harmonization) of civil procedural law within the EU and in the post-Soviet space (comparative legal aspect).
This monograph is dedicated to the study of the phenomenon of convergence of legal systems within the process of globalization and modern integration associations in the sphere of civil procedure. It extensively examines existing legal instruments of convergence worldwide, prerequisites and obstacles for the convergence of legal systems. The author analyzes the legal foundations, main stages of convergence of civil procedure in the European Union, and the achieved results in areas such as international jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement of foreign court decisions, and injunction proceedings. The comparative legal part of the study, together with a historical overview of the interaction of legal systems in the post-Soviet space, aims to recreate an objective picture of the ongoing convergence of legal systems in a modern integration association like the Eurasian Economic Union. The monograph is intended for researchers, professors, graduate students, law school students, and practicing lawyers.
