The collection comes out within the framework of the scientific project "Gender discourse and national identity in Russia: a historical retrospective and modern trends. The project involves a diachronical and synchronous analysis of the problem of the relationship between gender and national discourses in Russia of the second half of the XIH - early twentieth century. Based on the analysis of literary, artistic, critical, philosophical, journalistic texts, the national specificity of femininity and masculinity are being studied.
