The third volume of the autobiographical "Confessions" of one of the great mystics and esotericists of the 20th century, Aleister Crowley, tells the story of his discovery of the "Book of the Law" - the main text of the philosophical-magical tradition of Thelema. In this volume, Crowley also vividly describes his expedition to one of the greatest mountains on Earth - Kanchenjunga in the Himalayas, as well as recounts his travels in India and China. The book also contains descriptions of fascinating magical experiments by Crowley, during which he not only achieved Knowledge and Conversation with his Holy Guardian Angel, but also crossed the Abyss separating our profane world from the divine world, which subsequently helped him establish the magical order Argentum Astrum and gain mystical experience embodied in the so-called "Holy Books of Thelema."
