The monograph is dedicated to a relatively new direction in the folklore study - computer folkloristic, which allows using accurate methods when studying folk texts. This setting of the problem requires the clarification of a number of theoretical provisions to which studies are based, as well as comparing various approaches to automatic analysis of the folklore and used for this software, indicating their capabilities, advantages and restrictions. A number of experiments on the automatic and semi-automatic analysis of Russian fairy tales with the use of software developed by the author are described. The results obtained, the methods of work were considered, the advantages and disadvantages of various methods are discussed, as well as the prospects for further research.
