The manual combines in one edition the theoretical part of the discipline of the same name and laboratory workshops. The basic issues of the organization"s organization are considered: the functional organization of the computer, the command systems and the command cycle. Much attention is paid to the arithmetic basics of the computer, the principles of building various devices and their interaction. The issues of building microprocessor systems are discussed. In the second edition, laboratory workshops are complemented by software models of an arithmetic and logical device, presented, along with the computer model, on the supplied CD. In addition, the manual contains materials to perform course design.
