The first volume of a series of books programming art begins with a description of the basic concepts and programming methods. Then the author is focused on the consideration of information structures - the presentation of information within the computer, structural connections between data elements and about methods of effective work with them. For imitation methods, symbolic calculations, numerical methods, methods of software development, examples of elementary applications are given. Compared to the previous edition, dozens of simple, but at the same time very important algorithms were added. In accordance with modern areas of research, the section of mathematical administration was also significantly redesigned.
