This training manual outlines the principles of a systematic approach to the management of complex systems and the methodology of a systemic analysis of management processes. The basic provisions of the interdisciplinary scientific direction - the theory of systems and system analysis are formulated. The methodology of system research is considered as a set of information processes. The structure of information objects is analyzed, on the basis of which the general problem of making a decision is set and is carried out.
The possibilities and restrictions on modeling complex systems are shown in order to select optimal management solutions. The main approaches to assessing the quality and effectiveness of complex systems, including the quality of managerial solutions and the effectiveness of management processes, were discussed. The basic methodology for conducting system analysis in resolving problems has been set out. As part of the general decision -making problem, sources of uncertainty are considered, which impedes the operational choice of optimal decisions.
