The textbook contains 6 laboratory works devoted to linear data structures. Among them are dynamic massifs, a single linear list, stack, queue, sets. In laboratory work, 30 options for tasks are offered to consolidate the topic of laboratory work. Each laboratory work is accompanied by brief theoretical information on the topic, and is also illustrated by the solution of typical examples. Each example contains the condition of the problem, the presentation of the algorithm (principle) of solving the problem, the layout of the form with the description of the necessary components, the listing of the software code for solving this problem.
For the convenience and efficient use of various data structures in the training manual, software modules for the implementation of the following structures are offered: dynamic array, sorting dynamic arrays, linear list, stack, queue. The software code of these modules is given in the application.
The modular approach allows you to quickly connect various data structures to the desired program. For example, to implement a bypass of a tree or graph, you do not need to re -implement stack and queue, it is enough to connect the finished modules to the program and use all their functionality.
Programs given as examples are implemented in the development environment Delphi 7.
The manual is intended for teachers and students of the UTSO with a degree in “Software of Information Technologies”
