The publication was carried out as part of the joint publishing program of the Museum of Contemporary Art “Garage” and Artguide Editions. “Strange dances. Theories and stories around the dance performance in Russia ” - the seventh book of the Garage Dance series - turns to an unconventional Russian dance in an attempt to cartographs its origins, values, methods and institutional situations, to feel its connection with the western history of the dance, but also to show its specifics.
